Why Linux Not Copying Files To Internal HDD

Question

I am new to Linux . Recently i am facing a problem. I've gotten Kali Linux setup on a USB and I have been trying to copy files to my HDD but I get the error :

cp: cannot create regular file '/media/root/OSDisk/Users/User/Documents/file.txt': No such file or directory

But copying from the drive works fine. My Linux kernel is 4.15.0. lsusb returns:
