Hello, everyone!


In my scientific work I do a Static Analysis and Linear Buckling Analysis of the beam.
The beam is attached to the plate. I want to analyze the beam without a plate model, but given its rigidity.

The attached screenshots show that the elasticity of the plate greatly affects the state of stress.


How I can make constraints with rigidity for the beam?


How to determine the rigidity of fastening to the plate?


The problem is put in a simple form for an example. 

This approach is necessary for the analysis of models where the basic design is complex, but its rigidity needs to be taken into account, and the analysis area is much smaller and is used many times.


Is it possible to solve the model this way and how?

I'm waiting for help.

No! It's too easy =)


My idea:

To determine the rigidity of the plates' nodes in the plane of contact with the beam. (x,y,z,rx,ry,rz)


Set these values for springs (CBUSH zero length).


Get the results of linear static analysis with springs the same as with the plate.


In other words, get the results for the beam + plate = the results beam + springs ?

Is it possible ?
