  1. Hello everyone, i am new to Tcl programming and worked little bit with command.tcl file to create simple scripts. But now I would like to create a script with the help of if loop. I wanted the script automatically create the solids with bounding surfaces option and if the solids already exist in the model then to return. Can someone help me with this? I could only come out with this. *createmark surfaces 1 "displayed" *solids_create_from_surfaces 1 4 -1 2 Thank s and regards, Punith
  2. I am trying to debug TCL code through hypermath tool in Hypermesh. But, i don't know why it doesn't work properly like other IDEs. I don't know how to debug it step by step, so that i can come to know the workflow. It doesn't even shows the values at breakpoints. Any idea?

    Hi I want to know that can I use Hypermath function like fmincon or I my self write code in Hypermath and link it to model in Hyperwork and do optimization? If yes, is there any source that i can use? Best, Mohammad

    DRESP3

    Hi Has anyone done much with DRESP3 and accessing external functions? I am trying to use HyperMath to aggregate constraints in a size optimisation problem. I can get it to work if all my responses are of the same type (e.g DRESP1 - Stress), but if I try to combine a displacement (still DRESP1) constraint with a stress constraint I get an error "Number of responses in DRESP3 inconsistent" I have tried normalising both responses using equations, so now both responses are DRESP2, but I get the same error which occurs before completion of check. Any thoughts how I can get around this? or what may be going on? Cheers

    Sum Grid Point Forces

    I have a group of nodes for which I have grid point forces, specifically SPCF FZ. I would like to determine the summation of those grid point forces for the nodes in my group. Can anyone tell me how to do the summation using result math/hypermath? Thanks.
