  1. Hi all, I am writing a script to detect fillets in a geometry and defeature it. Right now i am using *separate_fillets command for fillet separation based on the given radius ranges (0-2, 2-4, 4-8, ....). But it is not giving a proper output. Some surfaces are missing in between and when i try to defeature, surfaces are getting destroyed. Is there any other command to detect/defeature fillets properly based on the given radius?

    Mesh on Fillet surfaces

    I tried meshing in a Fillet edge whose Fillet radius is 3. I specified element size of 0.5 but I cant able to cover the fillet surface entirely. I also tried on the fillet surface of intersection where Cylinder and a Flat plate meets. How to overcome this issue? I varied Element Size and Element density too. Thank you in Advance
  3. hello. I am using Hypermesh and analyzing the stress analysis near the pad plate on the cylindrical shell plate. Please tell me how to add fillet to curved surface (fillet between pad plate and shell plate) so that the singularity does not appear in the stress analysis. I tried Surface>Fillet but any fillet does not created. or If you know other way to disappear the singularity, could you please tell me how to. Thank you.
