Hi George P Johnson, Thank you very much for your quick answer. Indeed, my lock is getting deformed but it is intended. I am looking for its failure. Here are my material parameters: (I am working with the IS units) I also added a failure model: I don't see any probelms. Thank you for your time. Kind regards, RJ Hammada.
  2. Hello all, I am a new user of Radioss and I need your help. I am modelling two doors with a lock with a Johnson Cook failure model, on which I am applying a time dependant pressure. However, I have the following error, multipule times: "TIME STEP LESS OR EQUAL DTMIN FOR SOLID ELEMENT" I am already using Ismstr =2 in my P14 solid property and I have a type 2 interface, so the lock keeps a tied contact with the others doors. And I want the failure of the lock. I do not know how to solve this issue. Is there any options/ method to remove this error? Thank you very much for your help.
