Hello everyone, AFDEX MAT is the material identification module which is used for obtaining flow stress information from the load versus elongation data which is got from tensile/compression tests.   4. Hi all, As we know, we can get a stress-strain curve by doing a tensile test. But how to simulation this tensile test process to validate the parameters? In the tensile test, the loading velocity was very low (about 2mm/min), how can we simulate this in software? Roy
  5. Hi, I`m writing my master thesis and I need an help with tutorial HS 4200. I`ve done all the tutorial and I`ve found the parameters shown in the pdf. I`d like to print a comparison plot experimental data vs fitted curve, but I can`t do it. I tried to recover strain and stress in hyperview, but they are different from the experimental stress/strain. Please help me!

  7. Evaluate Tensile test results

    Hi, I'm looking for a possibility to evaluate tensile test results. That means I have done a tensile test analysis in hyperworks (imposed velocity...) and the same test also on a test bench in reality. So I have the real results (force/displacement diagram, stress/strain diagram) and want to compare the simulation with these results. But I couldn't find a way to do this comparison. Do you have any idea how to handle the simulation results? Maybe create a stress strain or force displacement result in hyper view/hypergraph? Thank you very much for your help!
