  1. Hi all, Is there any learning resource about implicit method in Radiosss? In other words, how to convert a explicit model to implicit with Radioss? Any relevant video and manual are appreciated. Thank you Roy
  2. Hello As the relation between internal and kinetic energy are completely different, and I have observed during solving DM/M is not zero also. I think, my time step is less enough so, I set Tmin=1e-006, Tscale=0.9. How to adapt this kind of poblem in order to get the better results My model is composed of the deformable tube, rigid wall, solid spot weld and fixture (green color) as picture below. In this analysis, I used the symmetry condition (half part) and defined the impose velocity (10mm/s) constantly at the back side of the tube.   3. Hi all, From the manual, for static or slow dynamic computations where the duration of the study is long, implicit method should be used. So how to set up a quasi-static problem in Radioss? Any detailed example? Thank you Roy
  4. Hello, I am performing a large displacement nonlinear quasi-static analysis of a steel coupon under cyclic loading. I am applying displacement cycles using TLOAD1 and DLOAD, so that I can apply the entire loading protocol in a single subcase (cyclicing between 0.75 mm and 0). I would like to control the loading increment so that I have a smooth force-deformation hysteresis curve, but no matter what I try, the loading increment seems to increase beyond what I specified with NINC in NLPARM. For example, I have specified NINC=1000 (so that the increment should be 0.001), but in total my entire analysis has only about 150 increments. I have EXPERTNL turned off, and if I also turn off LGDISP, everything works fine, but once I turn LGDISP on, the increment seems to be automatically determined. Please advise!
