    Thank you for valuable suggestion still my doubt is not cleared, Plz suggest me which one will give more realistic value . 1) torque load via rbe2 OR 2)torques load via rbe3

    Hi I am doing static analysis, using optistruct solver.. type of FE used is HEXA elements .I want to apply torque load on my model, am aware that we cannot directly apply torque load on 3D FE, shall i apply torque load using RBE2 or RBE3 ?? plz. suggest me which approach will give realistic result
  4. Contact non linear problem ??

    Hi, I am doing strength analysis. In my model I have 2 components, one is gear another pinion. I defined sliding contact between them.Since we are defining contacts,it means that it is a non linear problem.... this is my problem definition as all of we know there are 3 types of non linear analysis .my above said analysis falls under which type?? Is this a "contact non linear"??

    Hello I am doing implicit analysis ,I want to define acceleration load for particular nodes!! Is it possible to define acceleration load in "optistuct"? Or Is it possible to define gravity load for a particular nodes?
