  1. Topology

    Hi, guys I'm in between a rock and a hard place. I have done a topology optimization on a structure. The constrains are as show in the image below. The loaded pattern is only in one area and do not meet up with the constrains. Does any one got any idea why this is. I also have voided a few element errors by putting on my PARAM, so i'm not so sure if that may affect my results. If any one know any thing about this error please let me know asap, thank you.

    Hi @Prakash Pagadala I have been trying this method of applying pressure using linear interpolation and it have not work with a txt file. Is the amount of element has something to do with it. The responses that I am getting is that pressure is not created. Please can you forward a tutorial if possible. Thank you.
  4. Hi guy I have ran a cdf simulation on a wing and export the pressure loads in both txt file and word pad files. I am trying to use linear interpolation to apply back this pressure on the wing in optistruct but each time its say no pressure is created. Non of the above files work. Does any one got a clue please and thanks?

    Hi Im getting a error code when i run my topology. The error code is 'ERRORS DURING ELEMENT QUALITY CHECK' is there any way i can by pass this error. I am running a simulation with 2d surface mesh as non-design area and 3d internal as design area. any solutions guys?

    Hi guys, I have a problem getting my velocity magnitude plots from AcuFieldview because it did not turn up after my simulation how else can I do this contour plot? I attach a pic below.

    @Praniket Hi thanks for your swift response, I also would like to get the pressure distribution over the model from Acufieldview after I've solved it in VWT how would export these pressure back into hypermesh on the model for optimisation?

    Hi, I'm having a bit of problem with free edges using 2d meshing, is there another way to get rid of them apart from using equivalence because that is not working at the moment. I've attached a figure below.

    Hi Guys I have a wing section I want to clean up and cover the end section before I make it into a solid and run a topology optimization on it. I tried to toggle it and also tried to change the tolerance however it did not seal up. Does anyone know how to create a surface to cover it up so I can make it into a solid to run a topology on it? An image is a place below to illustrate the cavity. The red lines illustrate the open surface.
