    Hi Rahul, hereafter you can find the results of some additional tests that I peformed. I tried to run the analysis and the optimization with some random values of "element size" or "minimum thickness". Accidentally, I discovered that if I change these values, the value recomended by Inspire changes. Analysis: If I input a value lower than about 1mm, it suggests 1.3082 mm (default value is 6.6176 mm) Optimization: if I input a value lower than about 4 mm, it suggests 4.0555 mm (default value is 20.515 mm) The surprising result is that mesh generation work with this two values (1.3082 mm and 4.0555 mm respectively). The big drawback is the "enormous" calculation time (the analysis takes about 3 hours and the optimization about 12 using 3 cores of a Xeon E5 with 32 gb RAM).     Hi Rahul, Thank you for your answer and assistance. It seems that Inspire is working on the Windows 7 PC, but the problem persists on the Windows 10 PC. The model is not confidential. We are using the “classical” bridge tutorial (http://www.solidthinking.com/tutorials/Inspire-9.5-Tutorials/mac/index.html?sketching_optimizing.htm) The attached model has been built and correctly analyzed on the Windows 7 PC. If I try to analyze this model on the Windows 10 PC, I still get the same error message. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any other detail, log file, ....   4. Hello, I am a newbie (I hope I do not have missed a foundamental step ...) and I am having a problem in running analysis and optimizations. If the part is a single body, Inspire competes the analysis. If I subdivide the same part in two or more bodies (in order, for example, to define design-space and non-design-spaces), I always get an error window (see attached file), that says that Inspire is “Unable to Run the Model” because it cannot mesh one or more bodies, and suggests to try to decrease the minimum thickness or element size in some of the parts. The loads and constraints are again the same applied on the analysis with a single body. First, I checked the contacts, and all the portions of the part are bonded. I then tried reducing these values up to 0.01 mm (a very, very low value for the models), but nothing changed. Then, I generated a model containing only on of the part that it was unable to mesh (with some “random” load and constraints) and, now, Inspire can mesh (and analyzed) it correctly. I also tried to run some models from the tutorials (Rear Set Bracket.stmod, for example), but I get the same error. It seems it is an installation problem, but I do not understand what went wrong. I am running SolidThinking 2017.1. The problem occurs on a computer with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (build 14393.969), as well as on a computer with Windows 7 Pro. All the drivers of all the computers are up to date. Looking in the log files I only found this error message message in Progrees.log: #--------Error: Simlab mesher failed with Error code 1001 MeshErrorCode = 1001 NotMeshedOccParts = Design Space,Non-Design Space # Error while meshing - RUN_STATE = 2051 ## Done # --------------------- END ----------------------- Any help will be greatly appreciated.
